For those who do not know you; can you please introduce yourself?

My name is Sara Pagès, designer and owner of the brand called Lola Antoine
Born in the ’80s in the Pyrenees, I have always been interested in art and design since I was very little. I cannot imagine my life without any kind of artistic expression.

When was your brand started? Tell us a little bit about your background.

Lola Antoine was officially launched in 2017 in Andorra. Although I began to study and plan the brand three years ago.
I graduated in Fine Arts and later I studied Fashion and Costume Design in Barcelona in several Universities. With a career of more than 10 years in the world of fashion design and the creation of theatrical costumes for other fashion companies and production companies, I decided that I wanted to express my own creativity in my own brand. I analyzed the viability and I created Lola Antoine as my alter ego, the brand where I fully express my creative vision.

What is unique about the brand movement and your mission? What was your inspiration?

Lola Antoine seeks female empowerment, made by women for women who want to dress to make an impact around them.

My inspiration is fostered in the women around me. Woman of all types and conditions that surpass themselves daily. They always have a smile on their lips, they always shine no matter what, they fight for what they want and try not to submit to the established.

How did your journey with BRAND get started?

It began in 2015 when I saw the opportunity to create my own brand. I observed that my goals and dreams were not as far away as I thought. So, I finished all the projects I was working on and I focused totally on it.

Share about your 3 favorite fashion designers. What do you like most about them?

Difficult to limit it in only three. I would say that Maria Grazia Chiuri for her feminine audacity, Olivier Rousteing for his impressive attention to detail and Karl Lagerfeld for his elegant avant-garde and unstoppable evolution.

Breaking into the fashion & sustainable industry isn’t an easy feat. What advice would you give young people looking to form their own companies?

I would tell them that the road is not easy, there are many obstacles of any kind. The key to following their dreams is to persevere, to believe in themselves and never surrender.
